One person was killed in a fire that broke out across three buildings early Friday morning in Paterson, according to the fire chief.
Fire officials say the fire broke out on North Seventh Street around 2:30 a.m.
One person is unaccounted for, according to authorities. Seventeen others have been displaced.
The fire chief also says that two residents were hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
