Audra McDonald coming back to New Jersey

Tony-Award winning Broadway star Audra McDonald is returning to New Jersey this month. McDonald will bring her "once-in-a century" voice to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Saturday, April 29. McDonald has starred in shows like "A Raisin in the Sun,” "Porgy and Bess" and "Ragtime" winning six Tony Awards along the way. At this latest performance at NJPAC, she’ll sing some of the songs that put her in the Broadway history books.

An added show for Trevor Noah in Newark

NJPAC announced on Thursday that due to popular demand, Trevor Noah now has a third date for his "Off The Record" tour. May 22 is the added show. The comedian and former host of "The Daily Show" will also perform on May 23 and 24, but the show on May 23 is sold out. 

The Jayhawks will rock out in Jersey City

The Jayhawks have been rocking out in venues all over the country for over three decades. The band fuses country, rock and folk music. Led by frontman, founding member and songwriter Gary Louris, the band is touring their 11th studio album "XOXO" and will bring their tour to White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on Wednesday, April 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $35.

Jay Leno making a pit stop in Englewood

And don't forget, Jay Leno will attend a special ribbon-cutting event for the grand reopening of Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited as BergenPAC will show off $10 million in renovations. Leno will also perform at 8 p.m.
