At least two homes were damaged in a fire in Elizabeth Thursday.

Firefighters say the fire started in a three-story, two-family home on Inslee Place and spread to a neighboring building. The flames in the building where the fire started have been put out. Firefighters are still battling the blaze in the second home.

A resident of the home where the fire started says eight people live inside. Witnesses say no one was injured in the fire.

Fire officials are still investigating the blaze.
