An arrest was made nearly a year after a hit-and-run left a woman seriously injured in Jersey City.
Hudson County prosecutors say 66-year-old Rey Rosario, of Bayonne, was charged with knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision in February 2023 that left a 39-year-old woman from Jersey City seriously injured.
Prosecutors say the woman suffered multiple injuries after she was struck near Communipaw Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard. She was transported to Jersey City Medical Center with serious injuries.
Rosario was arrested on Monmouth Street and later released pending his first court appearance.
