Two men were injured in a Wakefield shooting early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Police responded to the scene just before 5 a.m.
Officers found a 38-year-old man with multiple wounds. He had a gunshot to his chest, left arm and left leg.
He was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Police also found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was taken to Montefiore Hospital and later taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
An unrelated arrest was made at the scene when investigators say a person assaulted officers.
No arrests been made for the shooting.
