Another reason to love the Garden State? Report says New Jersey residents live longer than most states
A new report says New Jersey has some of the longest lifespans in the United States, ranking the Garden State number 3 in terms of longevity.
The study was done by the life insurance company TermLife2Go.
On average, residents in New Jersey live to be just over 80-years-old, tying with Minnesota.
The website analyzed the life expectancy rates for each state, according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluations, then ranked each state based on how long the average resident is expected to live.
Hawaii was ranked first, followed by California.
