A man from Louisiana has drowned after proposing to his girlfriend underwater while the couple was vacationing in Tanzania, according to a post on her Facebook page.

A man from Louisiana has drowned after proposing to his girlfriend underwater while the couple was vacationing in Tanzania, according to a post on her Facebook page.
Steven Weber and Kenesha Antoine were staying in a wooden cabin with a bedroom submerged in the ocean off the east coast of Africa.
Weber proposed by swimming underwater and holding a handwritten note against the bedroom windows, before presenting a ring.
But he never came back up.
Weber's sister and the resort confirmed the death, and the state department confirmed the death of a U.S. tourist.
