AMC Theaters has permanently closed its
location in Hamilton, as the COVID-19 pandemic
continues to wreak havoc on the industry.
The theater was located at 325 Sloan Ave., right off Exit 65A on Route 295.
According to its website, 26 AMC theaters remain in New Jersey, and 1,000 worldwide.
Theaters opened in September on a limited basis, but many movies
haven’t been released in theaters, instead going straight to streaming
services.
AMC Theaters is one of the biggest movie theater chains in New Jersey,
as well as the country.
