While stay-at-home orders across the nation may have crushed some businesses, others have thrived with online orders.
Target has reported that their online sales increased by 141% last quarter.
Companies like Amazon and Walmart are even doing better this year as opposed to last year. Amazon has held a net sales increase of 26% this year while Walmart says its e-commerce sales grew by 74%.
Home Deport and Lowes have also reported increased sales.
Meanwhile the airline and retail industries have struggled.
According to the latest report by the Airlines for America Organization, air travel fell 91% since March. Air travel to Hawaii has fallen 97% from last year.
Major retailers like J.C. Penney, J. Crew and Neiman Marcus all filed for bankruptcy within the past few months.
