Airlines cancel 6% of flights amid controller shortages as shutdown continues

There is hope on the horizon for an end to the government shutdown and air traffic controllers returning to work.

However, airlines are canceling about 6 percent of their flights as they continue to adjust to air traffic controllers calling out of work.

Since they are not being paid, many are working other jobs to make ends meet until the shut down comes to an end.

House members are returning to work today in Washington so many hope they'll vote on re-opening the government.
