After 50 years, Aerosmith is saying goodbye, and they’re coming to New Jersey to perform one last time. For weeks now, the legendary rock band has dropped hints on their official website about a possible comeback on stage. They finally announced they are definitely going on tour…but for one last time. Aerosmith’s Peace Out tour will come to the Prudential Center in Newark on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.

Paterson’s own Wé Ani sang from her soul belting out Whitney Houston’s "I Have Nothing” on Monday night’s “American Idol.” America voted and she's now in the top eight. Ani has emerged as a fan favorite. On her social media pages, some viewers said Ani’s performance brought back everything they loved about Houston, another Jersey girl who had one of the most incredible voices of her generation.

Stars from New Jersey were in the mix at Monday night's Met Gala. Wyckoff’s own Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra channeled classic glamour in black and white on the red carpet. R&B superstar Mary J. Blige, a longtime Garden State resident, bloomed in her sultry floral dress. And Anne Hathaway looked virtuous in Versace. The Oscar-winning star glammed up in a white tweed by the famous designer after recently becoming a campaign star for the brand. This year's theme at the gala was "In honor of Karl,” a tribute to late fashion juggernaut Karl Lagerfeld.
