Film fans and movie makers alike converged on Red Bank Thursday for the first day of the Monmouth Film Festival.

The festival takes place at Two River Theatre.

It includes more than 120 feature and short films to be screened for the public. Many of the filmmakers will be attending as well.

There will also be workshops led by professionals for people interested in movie making.

The festival runs through Sunday.
