Gas prices are under $4 a gallon on average nationwide as we approach the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
According to AAA, a gallon of regular gas is now around $3.86.
The price is down from earlier this month when prices fell below $4.00 a gallon of regular for the first time since March 30.
The average price for a gallon of regular in New Jersey is also $3.86
