Nearly a thousand kids in New Jersey received a special treat in honor of Black History Month.

Elementary and middle school students attended a free education concert Wednesday hosted by the New Jersey Youth Symphony at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway.

Six hundred students from Union County Public Schools and 300 from Paterson Public Schools attended the concert.
