Police are investigating a crash between a New Jersey Transit bus and a PSE&G line truck that injured multiple people in Union Tuesday morning.
The crash took place at approximately 9:15 a.m. In a statement, NJ Transit said a bus on the 114 line heading to Bridgewater Mall from the Port Authority Bus Terminal "made contact with a PSE&G line truck at the intersection of Morris Avenue and Spruce Street."
A spokesperson for NJ Transit said there were 25 passengers on the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver, along with eight customers, were transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident resulted in traffic issues in the area. Union police are continuing to investigate the crash.
