A good Samaritan rescued eight people from a boat that capsized off the New Jersey coast, according to the Coast Guard.
The vessel capsized around 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of the Romer Shoal Lighthouse in Sandy Hook Bay. Another boater arrived at the scene and got the passengers onto the boat.
No injuries were reported.
Officials say a New York Fire Department vessel helped bring some of the rescued passenger back to shore.
Officials say it isn't clear what caused the boat to capsize.
