Investigators have arrested a suspected home invasion crew that's been targeting veteran and service organizations in New Jersey and possibly beyond.

Authorities believe eight men arrested Tuesday have been hitting homes and businesses for nearly two years. The men have so far been linked to April break-ins at Sayreville's American Legion and VFW posts, as well as Port Monmouth's VFW Post 2179. They allegedly began targeting the halls due to their lax security.

Police suspect the crew of similar break-ins in New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
