An employee at the ShopRite location in Old Bridge has tested positive for coronavirus, becoming the fourth ShopRite employee across New Jersey to test positive for the virus.

According to the store, the associate will not return to work until cleared by a health care professional.
The store has also notified any colleagues who may have been in close contact to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days.

The store underwent a deep cleaning and reopened Sunday.
The supermarket chain also announced it is increasing precautions at least 27 locations, saying it would begin limiting the amount of customers allowed in stores at one time to about 30% of their maximum capacity.
Employees at the Morristown, Garwood, and Newark locations also tested positive for the virus.
