New Jersey state troopers have made a special delivery on one of the nation's busiest toll roads.
Four troopers helped deliver a baby on the New Jersey Turnpike after a mother-to-be unexpectedly went into labor while traveling Monday afternoon.
Troopers Robert Ravotto and Robert Ciecwisz and Detectives Jason Kazan and Robert Kilmurray responded to help the woman around 2:45 p.m. in Newark.
Her husband was driving her to the doctor for a check-up. The mom and baby girl were taken to University Medical Center and police say they are doing well.
