A commuter train crashed Saturday night in New York, just over a week after the deadly Hoboken train crash.
Officials say 33 people were injured in the Long Island Rail Road crash in Nassau County, including six rail workers. Officials say a 12-car passenger train sideswiped a work train and then derailed in Garden City Park Saturday night. The work train caught fire after the crash.
The train was carrying 600 passengers eastbound from Penn Station around 9 p.m. when the incident happened.
Authorities say two people sustained injuries that are considered serious.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the crash.
