1. Sometimes as a cop, cowboy experience helps.
Georgia. 70 cows got loose on a highway after a truck crash. Cops trying to round 'em up. One had no success. That cop never worked on a farm. Took a while, but they finally corralled them all.
2. Think twice before you propose in the mountains.
A man took his girlfriend for a hike in the mountains of Colorado. They got to a nice place with a view. He popped the question. She said yes. But on the way back, they got lost. Then it got dark. Then they got dehydrated. Altitude sickness. Rescuers got to them the next day and walked them out. The marriage is still on.
3. There's a new queen when it comes to big wave surfing.
This is Maya Gabeira. She was towed into a monster wave in Portugal. They measured this wave at 68 feet. She's just a speck given the size of this beast. She successfully surfed it.  It's officially the largest wave any woman's ever surfed. Sweet revenge for Maya. 5 years ago, she nearly died surfing a wave here. She came back and conquered it.
