Police say three men were shot during an attempted robbery in Trenton.
The shooting occurred early Monday in the area of Washington Street and Roebling Avenue.
Lt. Stephen Varn tells NJ.com two men were shot in the back and needed surgery. A third was treated in the emergency room.

Their names have not been released.
Varn says police are looking for two suspects.
