Crews are on the scene early Monday after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Hoboken.
The fire was reported around 3:30 a.m. at a multi-story building on Hudson Street, according to city officials.
Ken Ferrante, the director of public safety for the City of Hoboken, said crews found fire in the rear of a six-unit, four-story building.
Firefighters quickly escalated the response to a second alarm and later a third alarm, Ferrante said.
All residents were evacuated and taken to an emergency location across the street at Marine View Plaza, officials said.
The fire was brought under control, but crews continued working to address fire in the walls and roof.
Ferrante said the fire was contained to one building.
No injuries were reported.
