Finance website 247wallst.com came out with a list of the highest paid governors in the U.S., and Gov. Phil Murphy was among the 10 highest.

According to the list, Gov. Murphy came in at number 10, making $175,000 a year.

The website looked at a database that compiles governor salaries, which varies state by state.

The governors of Washington, Vermont, Illinois and Virginia are six through nine on the list.

California's governor, Gavin Newsom, makes the most, with over $201,000 a year. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is second.

The governors of Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Massachusetts round out the top five.
