Halloween is over, and the holiday giving season is getting underway as Toys for Tots launches its “Mission Possible” campaign with a community kickoff in Elmsford.
People picked up collection boxes and posters last week to begin toy drives across Westchester and Putnam counties.
Campaign leaders say people can help by dropping off new, unwrapped toys at participating local businesses.
Residents can also host their own collection events or volunteer to help with the campaign.
