FORECAST:

RizzoSM.png

Today is another beautiful day across the state with high temperatures reaching nearly 65 degrees under a sunny sky. The wind picks up to nearly 25 mph throughout the midday with stronger gusts along the coast. The wind is northerly, so it remains dry. Thin clouds from the offshore storm reach New Jersey today, but the sunglasses will still be needed.

A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for Ocean County and southern zones for very minor high tide flooding during today's high tide cycle. Offshore waves reach heights of 10-15 feet, and swells are pushing the water toward the Jersey Shore. The seas will be rough, and the waves crash on our beaches to create some minor erosion in some places. The offshore storm continues to move away from New Jersey over the next few days.
