Paramus police are investigating a hit-and-run crash on Route 17 near the Westfield Garden State Plaza.
Authorities say a 32-year-old female was hit by a fleeing vehicle on Monday, Oct. 19 at around 5 p.m.
The victim was taken to the Hackensack University Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Route 17 South was temporarily closed as police investigated.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit was on scene to help with the investigation.
