

The National Hurricane Center is tracking Hurricane Isaias. The system was a Category 3, major hurricane at peak strength Friday. The storm made landfall a bit after 9 p.m. along the western Florida panhandle and continues to weaken as it tracks northward. Here is the timeframe to watch for rain across the tri-state area: some of the rain will be moderate to heavy at times around the tri-state from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Wind gusts 20 to 30 mph, and a few gusts to 35 mph possible. At the current time, coastal flooding is not expected.
