Yankees legend Mariano Rivera spent years bringing the heat on the mound. Now, he's bringing that same signature intensity to taste buds.

The National Baseball Hall of Famer visited Walter's Hot Dogs in Mamaroneck on Tuesday to introduce "Mo's Heat," a hot sauce based on a 122-year-old family recipe from his native Panama that plays on his nickname "Mo."

Dozens of fans stopped by the iconic hot dog stand to meet Rivera and taste the new sauce.

Known as one of the greatest relief pitchers in baseball history, Rivera said the venture is about sharing a piece of his heritage with fans.

"I'm bringing definitely not only the family recipe, but whole Panama with it," Rivera said. "When I play baseball, I show baseball to the world. Now I want the world to taste Panama."

Rivera is also partnering with Walter's on a special "Mo's Heat Dog."
