A multivehicle crash on I-287 North left numerous people hurt Saturday in Mahwah.
State police say a rear-end collision involving a Jeep, a Chevrolet SUV and a dump truck occurred as northbound traffic slowed down around 1 p.m.
The dump truck overturned, spilling rocks and debris across the roadway.
All northbound lanes were shut down for about an hour during cleanup, while the right lane and shoulder remained shut down for around four hours.
The occupants of all three vehicles were hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
State police say the crash remains under investigation.
