Police say a second person was arrested in connection to an attack in Concourse Village that left a man unconscious in the road, where he was then struck by two cars, including an NYPD vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Felipe Reynoso, 38, was taken into custody on Wednesday and Luis Torres, 39, was arrested on Aug. 13. Both men face multiple charges including attempted murder, for allegedly carrying out the initial assault on Aug. 8.

The victim's identity has not been publicly released, over a week after his death.

It happened near 166th Street and College Avenue just before 4 a.m.

Police say a white SUV struck the unconscious man and drove away. The NYPD cruiser hit the victim moments later, traveling around 12 mph.

News 12 obtained surveillance video of the aftermath where the officers that were inside the cruiser are seen helping the man before emergency responders arrive on scene.

Torres and Reynoso also each face attempted assault, and assault charges.

The driver of the SUV remains on the run as of Wednesday evening.
