Five displaced after early morning house fire tears through Woodbridge home

Five people were displaced after a fire ripped through a home in Woodbridge early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out around 5 a.m. on East Maple Avenue. Images from the scene show flames bursting through a basement window on the side of the house as fire crews work to bring the fire under control.
Multiple firefighters responded to the location to assist as the fire spread.
The Red Cross said on social media that it has a team assisting five people from the home with food, clothing, temporary lodging and other needs.
There is no word yet on any injuries or what caused the fire.
