A quiet pattern takes hold to end the week. Aside from an isolated shower risk tonight for northern counties, Friday looks stellar with sunshine and highs in the 60s.

The weekend split: Saturday brings widespread rain and cooler air, but Mother's Day Sunday is the clear better of the two days. We’ll trade the clouds for sunshine as temperatures spike into the 70s. We’re tracking another window of showers late Sunday into Monday before we dry back out on Tuesday.
