The sky cleared out earlier today and now the sky will cloud up again tonight. There is a risk of some light showers after midnight with temperatures cooling into the 40s.
There is even more rain on the way for part of the weekend - expect to see some heavier downpours later Saturday afternoon. Mother's Day looks good and warmer but the rain quickly returns Sunday night and into Monday.
So far for the season, Bridgeport is still lacking with the rain. From March first until now, we are about 2.5" below normal. The weather pattern looks rainier heading into next week, which should really help out.
Temperatures will stay on the cooler side of seasonable with highs in the lower 60s going into the weekend. Sunday will be the warmest day with highs in the 70s until next weekend.
With the steadier rain returning on Monday, expect temperatures to cool down a bit.
