Former Assemblywoman Taylor Darling has dropped out of the race for Congress.

She was planning a primary challenge against Democratic Congresswoman Laura Gillen for the 4th Congressional district seat.

Darling posted a message to social media saying quote, 'The technicalities of the current system make it challenging for community focused campaigns to fully participate in the democratic process.' 

Darling served in the state assembly from 2019 to 2024.
