Two men were injured during a shooting in Ocean Hill, police say.

Violence erupted at 1277 Herkimer St., steps from shops and businesses, just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The NYPD quickly sectioned off the street with crime scene tape as officers scoured the street and sidewalk for shell casings.

Authorities say a 33-year-old man was shot in the groin, while a 56-year-old man was grazed by a bullet in the lower back.

EMS took the 33-year-old to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and the 56-year-old to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

Police are searching for a man wearing all black who ran from the scene, traveling southbound on Rockaway Avenue.

Authorities say both men are expected to recover.
