We are starting off the new month of May with some pleasant weather moving into the Hudson Valley. After a rather damp and dreary end to April yesterday, we will see mostly sunny skies through the daytime with temperatures towards normal levels for this time of year. That's highs in to the mid-60s.
A chance for showers moves in late tonight, lasting overnight, and will wrap up early Saturday morning. The weekend itself is cooler than average with some breezy winds moving in for Sunday. It will be a "jacket or hoodie" type weather for the first weekend of the new month.
Monday into Tuesday will see temperatures on the rise to very enjoyable levels. Get ready to feel some warmth with highs rising into the 70s! But after that, we turn unsettled with rain chances moving back our way for Wednesday and Thursday.
