We are trading the sunglasses for an umbrella starting Wednesday. A gray and damp scenario will unfold from Wednesday into early Friday. Rainfall totals will range from half an inch to over an inch.
The showers will start light and scattered on Wednesday morning with temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. The winds will pick up from the south, with gusts up to 30 mph.
Thursday looks like the wettest day of the week with pockets of heavier and steadier rain. A few non-severe thunderstorms are possible. A lingering shower may last into Friday morning before the sky fully clears.
Warmer temperatures are on the way starting this weekend. Above-average temperatures with highs in the 70s and even low 80s are likely into early next week.
