2 hospitalized following 4-alarm fire in Palisades Park

A four-alarm fire damaged at least one business in Palisades Park early Sunday morning, officials said.

Firefighters responded around 2:20 a.m. to a reported structure fire at a row of stores on Broad Avenue, authorities said.

The Ridgefield Fire Department said the cause of the fire remained under investigation by the Palisades Park Fire Prevention Bureau as of Sunday afternoon.

Palisades Park Mayor Chong Paul Kim said on social media that two residents of the mixed-use property were hospitalized for smoke inhalation. According to Kim, they were in stable condition as of Sunday night.
