A loose horse led Monroe Township police on a wild chase Friday morning in Gloucester County.
Officers say they were dispatched to Hunter Woods after receiving a call reporting the animal around 7:51 a.m.
The horse quickly fled the scene when they approached. However, police say teamwork and their sprinting abilities helped them eventually catch and safely return the horse.
It wasn’t immediately clear where the horse got loose from.
