It's back to normal this morning at Great Oaks Charter School in Newark after a student was caught trying to bring a loaded gun into the building.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday morning at the school on Crawford Street.

A 17-year-old student was arrested after a pistol in his book bag set off the school's metal detectors.

Authorities have not said yet whether the teen will face charges.
