The Sea.Hear.Now Festival kicks off Saturday afternoon in Asbury Park.

The festival itself takes place at the North Beach of Asbury Park. This year, organizers have extended the area on the south end of the boardwalk for folks to eat, drink and shop between 4th and 5th avenues and within the Grand Arcade.

Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn showed News 12 some of the small changes to the layout this year.

"A little bit of differences this year because some of the footprint had to be moved," said Quinn.

"On the 5th Ave. beach, you're gonna see another change this year with Sea.Hear.Now," she said. "A lot of local vendors are going to be here.

Since the weather will be nice this weekend, walking or biking is the best option to get around. Main roads like Kingsley will be closed off completely, and it will be tough for Uber and Lyft to get around the blocked-off roads.

It's two days of music with more than 25 bands, over three giant stages, including Hozier, Blink 182 and Lenny Kravitz.
