Officials say it happened at the RiverWalk Center off Oceanport Avenue near Parker’s Creek. The fire was reported just after 3 p.m.
One firefighter was checked out for heat exhaustion but was expected to be OK.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
