Three teenagers from Montville's Boy Scouts Troop 74 have launched their way to international victory.

Thomas Jenkins, Makayo Cheung and Chase Eagan took home first place at the International Rocketry Challenge during the Paris Air Show held in France.

The trio earned the honor of representing the U.S after winning the national title in May.

The team designed, built and successfully flew their rocket, out outperforming top student teams from around the world.
