A portion of Interstate 287 is closed after the extreme heat caused the roadway to buckle in two locations.
The right lane on I-287 South near Route 23 in Riverdale is closed. The left and center lanes remain open.
The left and center lanes at the Brook Valley Road Bridge in Montville are also closed. The right lane and shoulder are open.
