Man charged with murder in fatal stabbing of roommate in Highlands

A Cliffwood man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for a deadly stabbing that happened in February 2024.

Terrance Bailey, 35, was convicted in the death of 28-year-old Daniel Haas Jr. of Newark.

The court found Bailey and an unidentified accomplice chased Haas with a gun and a machete-style knife before the killing.

The accomplice has not been captured, according to prosecutors.
