The Seeing Eye was founded by Morris Frank in 1928. Frank was blind and wanted to help World War I veterans who came back from Europe and couldn’t see.
The idea was to train dogs to act as a guide for blind people.
The Seeing Eye has been in Morris Township since 1965.
