Caught on camera: Thieves smash jewelry cases during Spring Lake Heights break-in

Jaheem Warren, 33, of Prospect Park, faces murder charges for allegedly strangling 23-year-old Lesslie Torres, according to the county prosecutor.

The incident occurred last month on West 46th Street, just a block from Torres' residence. Warren was arrested Tuesday.

The relationship between Warren and Torres, if any, remains unclear. Authorities say they are investigating if the attack was random.
