Two minors were arrested Wednesday after stealing a car, leading to a series of crashes and injuring two police officers.
The incident occurred around noon at Libella Court and Chapel Street, where police spotted a stolen 2020 BMW from Kearny. When officers investigated, the minors fled, crashing into an officer, two police cruisers and two civilian cars.
The underage driver and passenger attempted to flee on foot but were caught on Market Street. Two officers were hospitalized with non-serious injuries.
