Fire chief: 3 residents rescued from burning home in Jersey City
The fire chief tells News 12 New Jersey's Tony Caputo that an elderly woman was at the front door when firefighters arrived, and she told them that two other women were inside the home - one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

Firefighters pulled both out and administered CPR to one of the victims.
Both have been taken to local hospitals. One is listed in critical condition while the other is in stable condition.
A firefighter was taken to a local hospital after injuring his back but is expected to be OK.
It appears the fire started on the first floor according to the fire chief, but there's still no word on how it started.
